Glubot by Fastcap

So, I’m Canadian, and you can’t buy the Glubot in Canada.  I won this bad boy in the Sterling Davis pallet upcycle challenge last year.  What a freaking game changer.  People always scoff when they hear that about this product.  “You bought a glue bottle? Doesn’t your glue come in a bottle?!”.

To that I say, you’re not a maker unless you’re buying your glue by the gallon (3.8 liters).  The other thing that people do is use old mustard bottles.  I’ve used the mustard bottle.  It’s decent, but your glue ups end up smelling like a hot dog.

The best reason to use a Glubot is that you don’t tip it over and wait for the glue to pour to the tip before applying.  You just squeeze and the glue is forced up through a secondary chamber.

Doesn’t sound like a big deal? It is.  Try it once and you’ll never go back.

My only complaint is that the gaskets aren’t of the highest quality and don’t give the best seal.  You have to play with them a little to get the bottle to be air tight.

This is my favorite purchase for under $10!

The other thing to note is that you don’t have to buy a new Gluebot when the tip gets messed up or breaks. You can buy a pack of replacement tips for around 3 bucks. I found this out after replacing my bot the first time

I saw these for a couple years, then I finally got one! So worth $8! If you glue with any regularity, GET ONE!

I have had mine for a while now and have had the same issue with the lid not making a great Seal. My gluebot ended up cracking so I needed a replacement and to my surprise fast cap had changed the gasket. My original had a white paper/wax type gasket. My new one had a black rubber gasket and I’ve had it for almost a year without any sealing issues.

This is a game changer for sure! I love the ability to glue without the need to tilt the bottle. Ended up buying one off of Amazon and used re-ship to make it to Canada 🙂 worth every penny.

Great if you buy glue in a gallon jug.
